Storytelling Aperture (f/16, f/22)

1/50, f/22, iso 200

1/250, f/11, iso 200

1/3200, f/2.8, iso 200

I wish these images were larger. I did upload them large. Maybe because they are vertical? I think I actually prefer the second image (f/11). It seems sharper overall. The second tree in the last image (f/2.8) is the focus; the fore and background are blurred. I can see the difference in aperture settings in all these images.

  1. Ooooh, I love fall. Love these shots. Also, if you widen your blog layout, you can easily have bigger pictures on your blog. If you need help doing it, email me, I can walk you through it. (And oh, I'm from your photo class!) :)

  2. Great shots! I love the fall colors, and the dew drops are really fantastic! I love the little sunbursts. :)

  3. JoDean, I love all your shots. The dewdrops are beautiful, especially with the starburst; the perspective with the tree lined sidewalk is really nice and the leaves look like a colored carpet...and is that a Buff Orpington? We had chickens until the racoons killed half and the dog finished off the other half of them :( Love the pics! Great job - and welcome!
